Āyurvedic Aromatherapy Workshop (in-person)
w. Seva Van Why

Aromatherapy, the therapeutic use of essential oils, is popular for its availability and ease of use. Essential oils are highly concentrated essences derived from various parts of herbs, flowers, and plants. Essential oils can uplift, relax, inspire, and balance emotions, while improving physical and psychological functions. Āyurveda has a long history of using healing scents, and considers aroma as an important tool for prevention and healing. Likewise, aromatherapy massage and acupressure is a widely used technique that allows essential oils to be absorbed by the body for healing both physically and energetically.

Aromatherapy supports and builds prana, regulates digestion and metabolism, and boosts immunity. The individual's dosha constitution helps determine the best essential oils to support inner balance. In this workshop, we will discover your unique constitution and unpack the therapeutic use of essential oils in self care. We will explore the different qualities of scents, how to formulate custom blends, and create your own personal blend to take home!
