sadhana Continuum: yoga + ayurveda community

a place to return to the practices, people, and purpose that nourish your path

Ayurvedicyoga-38.jpg

you know the power of sadhana

You’ve experienced the transformational power of Sva Sadhana - how it weaves together theory and lived experience, inviting deep, embodied learning in Yoga and Ayurveda.

You’ve felt the shift that comes from regular practice: structure that supports the spirit, rhythm that anchors the mind, and community that holds you accountable. A deep dive that integrates body, mind, and spirit. Supported by teachings, teachers, and a community of fellow seekers.

The container of Sva Sadhana offered you structure, insight, and accountability.

And now that you’ve experienced how impactful this container can be, you need a way to keep it going.

sadhana continuum is the next step

Sadhana Continuum is a learning + practice community designed exclusively for graduates of Sva Sadhana. A way to stay nourished on the path, so that these practices keep you nourished in your LIFE.

It’s a place to stay connected to your practice, your people, and your Self - through a flexible, multi-format community.

Revisit. Reconnect. Reembody.

It’s your place to revisit familiar teachings,
reconnect with the wisdom traditions,
and reembody the practices that brought you back to yourself.

Sadhana Continuum offers more flexibility, more freedom, and the ongoing support you crave.

This is your place to come back to your Self.

who is this community for?

If you’ve completed Sva Sadhana, you already carry a deep well of knowledge in Yoga and Ayurveda. You’ve walked the path of dedicated practice, and experienced how powerful it is to grow in community.

But sadhana is like any garden - it needs tending.

You’ve seen how these tools work when tended to. And you’ve felt how easy it is to fall away when the container dissolves.

what you'll receive in Sadhana Continuum

  • a supportive kula: Engage with a dedicated group of practitioners who walk the path alongside you, offering encouragement and shared wisdom.

  • structured sadhana focus: Benefit from thoughtfully sequenced practices that provide direction and depth to your journey.

  • accountability & support: Stay aligned with your intentions through consistent guidance and communal support, helping you progress steadily.

  • a strong container: Balance the Vata and harness your creative energy within a structured environment that keeps you grounded and focused.

  • deepening knowledge: Continue to assimilate and embody the teachings of Yoga + Ayurveda, transforming knowledge into lived experience.

  • accessible resources: Gain access to a rich library of tools and teachings, meeting your life moment-to-moment.

This program is for those who want to keep showing up for themselves, for their families, and for the world. It’s for those who’ve touched transformation and are ready to keep evolving. Gently, consistently, and in good company.

This Is the Container That Helps You Return

I created Sadhana Continuum because I’ve seen what can happen after the initial program ends:

  • the momentum fades

  • the practices drift

  • the self-care slips

And as a result we feel less resourced for our work in the world. But when we have a place to return, we’re more likely to stay on the path.

This is that place.

A space to keep practicing, keep learning, and keep transforming - together. You’ll reconnect with old friends, and make some dear new ones.

on the path ~ Kara

Do you recall what Sva Sadhana facilitated for you?

I’ve never felt more aligned with the true essence of who I am. My home practice has never felt richer. My life has never felt more vibrant. It has made me a better mother and better in my work, and helped me to see why I’m here. The friendships I’ve made are profound. The wellness center feels like a home away from home. Kara is a gifted and skilled teacher who made me laugh, cry, and contemplate my path from here. ~ Megan Kolaja, 2024

This training helped me take one step at a time, and not overwhelm my system by trying to do everything all at once. The pacing was extremely helpful to keep me connected to the practices without burning myself out. For years I have been desiring to have a daily "yoga practice" and I have come out of this training with so much more. ~ Laceey McClain, 2024

I loved the opportunity to be in a dedicated learning environment where I could take a deeper dive into and develop a better understanding of a number of topics that have been included in Yoga classes I've taken over the years (i.e. the Yoga Sutras, Sankhya theory, Prana, the Kleshas). ~ Lucia MacLeod, 2024

I cannot believe how beautifully subtle the changes in my life have been. I say subtle because it has been a slow progression of growth over the nine months. It has allowed me to incorporate practices into my life without feeling overwhelmed and I believe, because of that, those practices have stuck. ~ Kara Markovich, 2024

FAQs

  • Through the Vedic sciences we see ourselves as a cell of the whole organism.

Tatha bramande, yatha pindande. | As in the universe, so in the individual.

It is the moments where we find ourselves the most unsure, unsettled, and stressed that these practices are of the greatest service. We need to be resourced to do our dharmic work in the world. Sadhana + Kula are two vital ingredients in that equation.

  • Absolutely. This program is designed as an invitation back and a deepening in. The only thing there is to do is begin again.

  • While Sva Sadhana is a training program, Continuum is a practice community. It’s designed to be container for continued learning and practice with the guidance of a teacher and carefully designed syllabus.

It’s designed to offer the support you experienced in Sva Sadhana, in a format that meets the responsibilities of your life with flexibility.

  • Each month’s live session will be comprised of a 1.5 hour weeknight session. You can gather in-person at the AWC, livestream via Zoom, or via recording as your schedule allows. This format keeps your weekends free, while still providing a regular connection point.

There will also be optional office hours where you can bring questions and discussion topics.

Each month a themed home sadhana plan will be provided, and you’ll decide which components of that plan make sense for YOU.

  • As you already know, part of an individualized practice is about learning to modify a practice to meet your needs. Asana will be part of this training, but it is only one part. We are committed to helping to make these teachings and practices accessible to anyone with the willingness and commitment to participate. Students with injuries or other physical concerns typically find that together we are able to make physical practices accessible. You’re also welcome to contact us to inquire about your particular circumstance.

  • No problem, you can catch up via on-demand recording at your convenience.

  • Of course! Students will have the option of participating in-person, via livestream, or via on-demand recording.

  • Sva Sadhana Continuum isn’t for you if you don’t see the benefit of regular Yoga & Ayurveda practices in your life, and if supporting those practices with guidance and a group dynamic doesn’t sound helpful. Otherwise Continuum is for you!

  • Thank you for being an All-Access Member. Please select AAM tuition on the registration form.
