AWC APOTHECARY COORDINATOR MISSION

The Apothecary Coordinator oversees the operations of the Ayurvedic Wellness Center Apothecary, retail shop, and online shop.

Your role is to manage day-to-day Apothecary operations, and oversee ordering, stocking, and formulation of herbal products and retail products. You love tending details small and large, and supporting the collective work of a healing team. You are passionate about the sciences of Yoga and Ayurveda and hold the space for the healing (large and small) that happens in the Wellness Center.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Apothecary

  • Health and Safety: Maintain Standard Operating Procedures. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • In-House Products Production: Blend custom herbal formulas, create retail product formulations, manage product compliance processes, product labeling, product support for programming.

  • Apothecary Shop: Maintain appropriate product blend and inventory levels.

  • Product Marketing: Create product descriptions, product photography, provide product education to staff and clients.

  • Client Order Fulfillment: Make, order, price, and communicate custom client orders.

  • Front Desk Support: Assisting clients and customers in the store.

  • Apothecary Finances: Achieves measurable objectives, including financial goals responsible for retail apothecary growth.

Procurement & Inventory Management

  • Inventory Management: Wholesale ordering, COGS tracking, retail product pricing, maintaining appropriate stock levels, conducts monthly inventory counts.

  • Retail + Online Store Maintenance: Product listing, webstore order fulfillment, client and staff product education, advertising, etc.

  • Financial Management: Assist with financial tasks such as budget tracking, invoice processing, and expense management. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate record-keeping and timely financial reporting.

Facilities Management

  • Sattvic Space: Ensure AWC staff and clients have a clean, comfortable, and beautiful space to be.

  • Facilities Maintenance: Coordinate communication between the Property Manager, AWC Owner, and AWC staff. Receive facilities concerns from owner and staff and coordinate with Property Manager or Vendors for solutions.

  • Fluent with technology and a variety of software (specifically Mac platform). You love an app for that.

  • Someone who loves to learn. (Undergraduate Degree or Self-Style Equivalent).

 

Experience

Minimum one year experience in inventory management and hands on production

Availability

full-time, weekdays, 8:30-6:00p
* occasional evening/weekend availability required
1 year minimum commitment

Compensation

Commensurate with experience. Starting at $18/hr.
