AWC APOTHECARY COORDINATOR MISSION

The purpose of this multi-dimensional position is to support the operations of the Ayurvedic Wellness Center, including the Ayurvedic & Bodywork Private Practice, Retail Apothecary, and Community Healing Space. 

In this role, you provide a warm welcome to all clients, students, and visitors to the Wellness Center. You set the space and the tone for their visit. You offer client orientation, know the ins and outs of all Ayurvedic and Yoga offerings, assist clients in understanding and applying Ayurvedic Apothecary products, and facilitate in-person and livestream classes.

You are passionate about the sciences of Yoga and Ayurveda and hold the space for the healing (large and small) that happens in the Wellness Center.


RESPONSIBILITIES
Guest Experience

  • Welcome and orient guests with warmth and professionalism.

  • Support client arrival, scheduling, and check-out.

  • Coordinate appointment scheduling for practitioners

  • Optimize clinic use of Client Portal, ensure all client forms and waivers are complete as required. Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries with all clientele.

  • Cultivate a peaceful, healing atmosphere in the client waiting area

  • Treatment Room Preparation: prepare/turn-over the treatment room and supplies for primary practitioner treatments.

Group Classes & Events

  • Facilitate group education classes and events

  • Take registration and payment for AWC programs and events.

  • Ensure the atrium is clean, organized, and well maintained.

  • Maintain and update the On Demand Library (video editing, uploading new content, and organizing the content)

Retail Apothecary

  • Shares Ayurvedic product knowledge in a way that supports clients’ wellness

  • Oversees client order pick-up

  • Comfortable selling goods and services

Experience

Minimum one year experience in customer service

Availability

part-time
12-20 hours a week
*evening/weekend availability required
1 year minimum commitment

Compensation

Commensurate with experience. Starting at $15/hr.
