Ayurveda teaches the science of Tanmatra Chikitsa (subtle sense therapies). Massage is a therapy of touch, interfacing with and balancing the elements and qualities that comprise our constitutions.

Our massage therapists offer massage as a means to support your physical body, energetic body, and mental body wellness. Modalities such as Therapeutic, Deep-tissue or Swedish Massage, Acupressure, Reflexology, Myofascial Release, Energy Balancing and/or Cranio-Sacral Techniques are woven into a personalized session considering your constitution, wellness goals, and wellness challenges.

They offer Ayurvedic Bodywork Therapies that work on the physical, energetic, and mental bodies to offer profound effects. These therapies are effective means to address stress, anxious mind, insomnia, fatigue, ungroundedness, as well as a myriad of physical concerns.

Each of our therapists walk the path of Yoga & Ayurveda, and these sciences inform their approach to life and their bodywork practices. We know you’ll be supported by their intentional approach to bodywork modalities.

Gina Greene massage therapist

Gina Greene, LMT, ERYT

Gina Greene is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Ayurvedic Bodywork Practitioner, and Yoga Teacher with over twenty years of practice. She continues to be moved by the conversation that emerges as the body speaks via the breath, the feeling plane, the tone of the tissue, the response of the fascia and the tenor of words spoken.

Gina believes that healing touch encourages the bodies intelligence to flourish, our sytems to move towards balance and our experiences to be more fully integrated. Sometimes we need assistance in remembering - to slow down, to release the grip of living, to tend to ourselves and rest into the wholeness of connection.

Her therapeutic approach consists of a fluid and intuitive integration of bodywork techniques that are deeply supported by her ability to direct her attention with open awareness. She completed her 520-hour training and two years of apprenticeship at The Kalamazoo Center for the Healing Arts.

My visits to the serene AWC space for massage sessions with Gina are essential to the rhythm of caring for my mind-body-spirit. Gina is so profoundly present to her healing work. I have been seeing her for many years, and am grateful for her intuitive, skilled approach that uniquely meets my needs and always feels deeply restorative.

Meagan VanStratt, LMT

Meagan VanStratt is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Ayurvedic Bodyworker, and Yoga practitioner. She was introduced to Yoga and Ayurveda over a decade ago and it quickly became an integral component of her healing journey. When she first experienced Ayurvedic Bodywork in 2017, she knew instantly that she wanted to practice these modalities.

She has trained with Ayurvedic Practitioner, Kara Aubin in the sciences of Yoga & Ayurveda, and graduated from the Institute of Massage Education in 2021. She shares bodywork because of her firsthand experience of the connections it cultivates in body, emotions, and clarity of mind. She is called to meet clients where they’re at and through bodywork support them on their individual healing journey.

Meagan’s skill set is unparalleled. After a medical procedure earlier in the week, my entire system felt out of whack. I walked away from my session with Meagan feeling refreshed and aligned, and perfectly relaxed.
