In Ayurveda we understand each season to be ruled by a Dosha, its elements, and qualities. Your bodily constitution is influenced by these seasonal factors, which is why seasonal transitions bring disequilibrium that we experience as seasonal colds, allergies, and other symptoms of imbalance.
Ayurveda prescribes certain seasonal practices to ease the transition from one season to the next. In this workshop, you’ll explore the theory of seasonal transitional practice (ṛtucharya) and learn food and lifestyle practices to help ease the transition from the intense heat of summer to the cool, dryness of autumn. You’ll have tools to take home and create more balance this fall!
