Marma Acupressure Yoga (in-person)
w. Seva Van Why

Marma yoga is a therapeutic form of yogasana that focuses on stimulating vital energy points in the body known as “marma points.” By gently activating these points through yoga postures, breathwork, and meditation, practitioners can enhance their overall well-being and restore balance to the body’s energy systems. Marmani likes “brain games” so we will have a fun play on some traditional poses to keep you challenged! Each month we reiterate what we have already learned, and introduce something new to explore marma and yogasana. We also use elements from Qi Gong to increase our pranic energy to energize you!

Benefits of Marma Yoga

  • Promotes deep relaxation and stress relief

  • Enhances circulation and energy flow

  • Supports emotional and mental harmony

  • Strengthens the body’s natural healing abilities

  • Targets the Nervous System and Lymphatic System
