Mexican cuisine is vibrant, colorful, and deeply satisfying. It is also one of the most beloved food traditions in the world, built on bold spices, bright herbs, and nourishing ingredients. When we bring Ayurvedic principles into the kitchen, we can enjoy all of that flavor and still feel light, clear, and energized after the meal.

In this hands-on cooking class, we will explore how to work with the ingredients at the heart of Mexican cooking, including nightshades, beans, and chilies, in ways that support your digestive fire (agni) rather than strain it. You will learn how spice, when used with intention, can actually strengthen digestion rather than overwhelm it.

The menu will be colorful, family-friendly, and rooted in traditional Mexican inspiration, adapted through the lens of Ayurveda. Expect warm spices, bright herbs, creamy sauces, and deeply satisfying textures.

Will we eat the food we prepare?
Yes. The class includes a shared meal so you can enjoy everything you have helped create.

Do I need to follow a special diet to participate?
No. The recipes are designed to be nourishing and approachable for a wide range of people. If you have specific dietary needs, feel free to reach out before the event.
