The Ayurvedic Wellness Center is the home for teaching the teachings and practice of Ayurveda and Yoga in Southwest Michigan, facilitating radical wellness through time-honored Vedic technologies. Weโre located near downtown Kalamazoo, in a sanctuary surrounded by the healing qualities of nature.
โI can't say enough positive things about my experiences with the Ayurvedic Wellness Center; the entire Team and the program offerings they provide have changed my life and perspective immensely. I began consultations two years ago and was given a regimen that has changed my health and wellness forever. I completed this entire journey with AWC through online consultation all while living in New York and Florida. I am grateful, and can't imagine being on this journey without AWC.โ

summer solstice celebration
honor the the longest day of the year
Wednesday, June 18 at 5:30p ET
w. Kara Aubin and Kara Markovich
The Summer Solstice, as the longest day of the year, marks the apex of the solar cycle.
Solstice means โstopped, stationaryโ. This is the still point where the sun seems to pause in itโs gradually descending position on the horizon, before beginning to climb again. The โpauseโ in transitions is an aspect that can be challenging to remember, and if we can honor it, itโs where magic unfolds.
Join Kara Aubin & Kara Markovich for this special evening event to celebrate the solstice. This celebration weaves together the modalities of Yoga, sound therapy, and community connection to create an intentional and collective pause.

ayurvedic consultations
Ayurveda, often translated as 'The Science of Life', is an ancient system of healing from India. This holistic system looks at how the five elements manifest uniquely in each individual and treats imbalances based on your unique constitution. The result? A modality that 'sees' you as a person, and not as your symptoms or disease.
โI wanted holistic support to help me address a few health issues I had, and found the perfect practitioner at the AWC. I am sleeping better, have more energy and feel the benefits of continuing to work with the protocols recommended specifically for me.โ

Community Care Fund
In 2021, the Ayurvedic Wellness Center started a Community Care Fund (CCF) to partially or fully cover Ayurvedic services for clients who are in financial need. The Community Care Fund allows those in our community who, at any given time, have adequate financial means to support the healing journey of someone who otherwise would not have access to these practices.
There are two ways you can contribute:
Any gratuities for Kara Aubin will be paid directly into the CCF.
You may chose to make a donation at any time. You can add this donation to your retail purchase, or donate directly.
If you would like to utlize Community Care Fund resources to support your healing journey, please email us to schedule.
The AWC thanks you for your community care!

The Ayurvedic Wellness Center is a must visit gem in Kalamazoo or even virtually across the globe. An expansive experience of health, wellness, and spirit through yoga and Ayurvedaโฆ Their space feels like a warm hug, and I cannot say enough good about my time spent within this community.
