The Ayurvedic Wellness Center is the home for teaching the teachings and practice of Ayurveda and Yoga in Southwest Michigan, facilitating radical wellness through time-honored Vedic technologies. Weโ€™re located near downtown Kalamazoo, in a sanctuary surrounded by the healing qualities of nature.

โ€œI can't say enough positive things about my experiences with the Ayurvedic Wellness Center; the entire Team and the program offerings they provide have changed my life and perspective immensely. I began consultations two years ago and was given a regimen that has changed my health and wellness forever. I completed this entire journey with AWC through online consultation all while living in New York and Florida. I am grateful, and can't imagine being on this journey without AWC.โ€

- Jodi B.

โ€œFrom medicinal teas, to expert bodywork, to Ayurvedic practitioners on staff that can help you get to the root cause of dis-ease, the Ayurvedic Wellness Center offers wrap-around care that is incredibly supportive for wellness. I wouldnโ€™t go anywhere else.โ€

friday night yoga groove

listen to amazing music & move with joy

Friday, May 30 at 7:00p ET
w. Gina Greene

Ease out of the week with guided yoga and an open invitation to move, dance, and feel good in your body. After a short warm-up, the playlist takes overโ€”inviting you to explore movement in your own way, whether itโ€™s flowing through asana or dancing like nobodyโ€™s watching. Itโ€™s playful, freeing, and full of joy.

sound immersion semester

a three-week journey of deep relaxation & healing

Tuesdays, May 13-27 at 5:30p ET
w. Kara Markovich

Experience the deeply restorative power of sound in this three-week series. Just as therapeutic bodyworkโ€”such as a focused series of shirodhara, marma, or bastiโ€”can create profound shifts in the body and mind, this series invites you to discover how sound can have a similarly transformative effect on your nervous system.

Each week, youโ€™ll simply relax as waves of sound wash over you, helping to quiet the mind, ease tension, and promote a sense of well-being. No effort, no experienceโ€”just the opportunity to receive and notice how sound transforms your state of being.

Come as you are and let the sound do the work.

ayurvedic consultations

Ayurveda, often translated as 'The Science of Life', is an ancient system of healing from India. This holistic system looks at how the five elements manifest uniquely in each individual and treats imbalances based on your unique constitution. The result? A modality that 'sees' you as a person, and not as your symptoms or disease.

โ€œI wanted holistic support to help me address a few health issues I had, and found the perfect practitioner at the AWC. I am sleeping better, have more energy and feel the benefits of continuing to work with the protocols recommended specifically for me.โ€

- Laurie D.

Community Care Fund

In 2021, the Ayurvedic Wellness Center started a Community Care Fund (CCF) to partially or fully cover Ayurvedic services for clients who are in financial need. The Community Care Fund allows those in our community who, at any given time, have adequate financial means to support the healing journey of someone who otherwise would not have access to these practices.

There are two ways you can contribute

  1. Any gratuities for Kara Aubin will be paid directly into the CCF.

  2. You may chose to make a donation at any time.  You can add this donation to your retail purchase, or donate directly.

If you would like to utlize Community Care Fund resources to support your healing journey, please email us to schedule.

The AWC thanks you for your community care!

The Ayurvedic Wellness Center is a must visit gem in Kalamazoo or even virtually across the globe. An expansive experience of health, wellness, and spirit through yoga and Ayurvedaโ€ฆ Their space feels like a warm hug, and I cannot say enough good about my time spent within this community.
