kantha water lilies tassel necklace
$47.00
This relaxed style is super casual when worn alone and makes the perfect boho statement piece when layered.
Blue, green, and purple beads form a long strand that is finished with a statement bead and tassel.
Each piece is made from repurposed kantha and sari textiles, so colors and patterns are all one-of-a-kind and will vary.
In Sanskrit, the word โkanthaโ means rags, referring to old saris (the principal garment of women worn in India ) and other pieces of discarded fabric. Never meant to be used as accent pieces, Kantha is incorporated into these jewelry pieces as a way of repurposing old fabric.
Measures 32" long.
Sustainably handmade by women artisans in India.
