Curious about Ayurvedic cooking but not sure where to start? This beginner-friendly class is the perfect place to begin (or refresh) your journey!

In Ayurvedic Cooking 101, we’ll explore the fundamentals of Ayurvedic cooking in a supportive, hands-on environment. Whether you’re completely new to the kitchen or simply looking to build more confidence with Ayurvedic principles, this class is for you.

In this session, you will:

  • Learn how to prep plant-based ingredients for maximum digestibility

  • Build confidence preparing simple, nourishing meals like kitchari and dal

  • Craft seasonal, dosha-balancing soups that support your unique constitution

  • Discover essential Ayurvedic spices and techniques that make cooking both healing and delicious

  • Gain practical cooking skills to help you implement your Ayurvedic protocol with ease and consistency

You’ll walk away with simple recipes, helpful tips, and a deeper understanding of how to bring Ayurveda into your daily meals with ease.

Ideal for beginners or anyone craving a little extra kitchen confidence and Ayurvedic inspiration.

This class is offered in-person at the Ayurvedic Wellness Center or livestream via Zoom. Registration includes access to a class recording for seven days.

Kristin Linde . B.S., AHP, AYS, RYT

Kristin Linde is an Āyurvedic Practitioner, Yoga Teacher, and plant-based chef based in Kalamazoo, MI. She earned her 500 hour Yoga teacher certification from Yoga Madre, and completed her Āyurvedic Practitioner certification with Dr. Vasant Lad at the renowned Āyurvedic Institute in Asheville, NC. 

Kristin’s mission is to guide those interested in the healing power of Yoga and Āyurveda, holding space for them as they discover their own innate healing capacity and to help illuminate the path for them as they embark on their wellness journey. 

Kristin shares her passion for Āyurveda by working one-on-one with clients, teaching workshops and cooking classes, and by continuing to study with her teachers and mentors.
