Beat the heat from the inside out with this seasonal Ayurvedic cooking class designed to soothe Pitta dosha and keep you cool, calm, and nourished all summer long!

In this hands-on class, we’ll create refreshing, grounding, and mildly spiced dishes that support digestion and balance the fire element. Perfect for anyone feeling overheated, irritable, or just looking to eat in alignment with the season.

Together we’ll prepare a variety of vibrant, Pitta-pacifying recipes featuring cooling herbs, sweet and bitter vegetables, and gentle spices. You’ll leave with easy-to-follow recipes, Ayurvedic kitchen tips, and a full belly.

In this session, you will:

  • Learn Ayurvedic strategies to stay cool, calm, and balanced during the summer season

  • Prepare hands-on, Pitta-pacifying recipes using cooling herbs, sweet vegetables, and gentle spices

  • Explore digestion-supportive techniques tailored for the fire element

  • Enjoy a nourishing, seasonal meal and leave with easy-to-follow recipes and kitchen tips

This class is offered in-person at the Ayurvedic Wellness Center or livestream via Zoom. Registration includes access to a class recording for seven days.

Kristin Linde . B.S., AHP, AYS, RYT

Kristin Linde is an Āyurvedic Practitioner, Yoga Teacher, and plant-based chef based in Kalamazoo, MI. She earned her 500 hour Yoga teacher certification from Yoga Madre, and completed her Āyurvedic Practitioner certification with Dr. Vasant Lad at the renowned Āyurvedic Institute in Asheville, NC. 

Kristin’s mission is to guide those interested in the healing power of Yoga and Āyurveda, holding space for them as they discover their own innate healing capacity and to help illuminate the path for them as they embark on their wellness journey. 

Kristin shares her passion for Āyurveda by working one-on-one with clients, teaching workshops and cooking classes, and by continuing to study with her teachers and mentors.
