Sound Sanctuary + The Practice of Wintering
w. Kara Markovich

This offering is an opportunity to begin your day, your week, your month, with a relaxation modality that allows for deep rest and reset. Please join Kara Markovich as she envelops the room with sounds using Tibetan singing bowls, tuning forks, crystal bowls, and gongs.

This form of mediation guides the mind into alpha and theta brainwaves, moving from a daily state of consciousness and into a subconscious and supersubconscious state. In these states, the body is able to deeply relax and move into an open mindstate, open to creativity and dreaming.

The ability to rest so deeply is a wonderful way to deal with stress and anxiety and to connect more  intuitively with true source/Universe.

The Practice of Wintering

The practice of wintering encourages us to accept the natural ebb and flow of life, understanding that periods of activity must be balanced with periods of stillness. Wintering teaches us to listen to our bodies and minds, honoring our needs without judgment, and opening up space for healing.
