Gentle Yoga (in-person or livestream)

Gentle Yoga offers a practice designed to build flexibility, balance, strength, calmness, and inner attunement to body and mind.
This class includes:
gentle opening postures which lubricate the joints from toes to head
active sequences which build strength, balance, and prana
inwardly-directed awareness-building practices
We will use the breath to calm the nervous system, strengthen focus, and develop meditative inner attunement.
Cumulative effects of this practice include:
increased flexibility, strength, and balance
a greater attunement to the mind-body connection
a more peaceful, grounded start to your day

This class is offered in-person at the Ayurvedic Wellness Center or livestream via Zoom.

Judah Gesmundo
Judah was first exposed to hatha yoga when her mother followed Lilias! Yoga and You on PBS. She was a professional modern dancer from 1975-1980, teaching in NYC for Erick Hawkins and at her own school called The Dance Place. Judah was exposed to yoga teachings and practices in 1979 and completed her hatha yoga teachers training in Ganeshpuri, India in 1990.
Judah is a life-long learner and thoroughly enjoys sharing her love of yoga, movement and meditation with others.
