Dynamic Joyful Flow (in-person or livestream)
w. Simeon Birnbaum

This class is for the yogi wanting a fun, focused, and vigorous class designed to challenge them at whatever level they are at, up-level from there.

The goal for the class is to support and cultivate play and joy as a way to increase physical and mental strength, flexibility, as well as energetic and emotional awareness and balance.

This class is a synergy of yoga styles: Kundalini, Kripalu, Iyengar, and Qi Gong with an objective that we will expand lung capacity and tap into and learn to navigate new energetic reservoirs; strengthen, lengthen, and access the body freshly; increase mental acuity and endurance for focus, as well as build emotional resilience in the face of obstacles and heartfelt joyfulness.

To start:
- Pranayama (breath exercises)
- Qi gong to access and cultivate energy as well as loosen up our muscles and lubricate our joints
- Yoga Asana (postures) warmups with specific and individually tailored cues to take the mind into the body

It is a vigorous, yet slow moving vinyasa (flow) of postural inquiries with longer holds, finally ending in a restorative and deeply restful unwinding sequence.
