Ayurveda for Women’s Wellness (livestream, on-demand)
w. Kara Aubin . CAP, ERYT500
what is ayurveda for women’s wellness?
The female body is an incredibly responsive and intelligent organism that expresses its imbalances clearly for us to interpret if we’re listening. Ayurveda contains the theory and the language to understand what symptoms of imbalance the body is communicating AND holds the practices to address those imbalances. It’s a science of cycles and phases, which is well matched to the sacred cycles of the female body.
The four-week semester is a container for the transmission of the profound teachings of Ayurveda as they have been passed down for millennia. Each week will build upon the previous teachings until we have woven together a picture of vitality, balance, and health for women through each of the three stages of life. Classes will include theory lecture, Q&A, diet, lifestyle, herbal approaches, and weekly home practices to implement.
