An Introduction to Sound Therapy
w. Kara Markovich


Join Kara Markovich for an introduction to sound therapy where we will explore what sound therapy is and how you can benefit from this work. This hour-long session will include a deeper understanding of this relaxation modality, a 40-minute Sound Immersion, followed by discussion and conversation. This is a wonderful opportunity for those who are curious, intrigued, feel called, or who simply love sound therapy and wish to attend. 

Kara leads a Sunday morning Sound Sanctuary Immersion once a month at the Ayurvedic Wellness Center.  

Contraindications for Sound Therapy include but are not limited to pregnancy, suffering from tinnitus or any form of sound related epilepsy, migraines, a pacemaker, artificial heart valves, cardiac arrhythmias, bipolar, ASD, or have been undergoing treatment / receiving medication for any form of psychological disorder within the last 6 months. If you experience any of these please consult your doctor before scheduling a session.

Kara Markovich

Kara is a retreat and circle facilitator and a writer who began her studies in 2019 under Julie Chase of Wind Willow Sound Health. She incorporates tuning forks, Tibetan singing bowls and crystal bowls to bring the body into a deep state of relaxation. She offers both individual sessions and group sessions and loves sharing this experience with others in her studio in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
